7 Months Really?!?!!
I am most certainly enjoying every moment with this sweet little baby but sure wish the time would not fly by so darn fast.
STATS:
(We didn't go to the doctor until the end of the month due to everyone having the flu! The doctor said to wait to bring her in so she doesn't get it!!)
JAN 21, 2013 (almost 7 months)- 17.5 pounds (75%) and 25-3/4" (50%)
WHAT WE DID THIS WEEK:
Ear Infection number 4! Stayed home and played with mommy!
WHAT WE ARE DOING NOW:
Bottles- She is drinking 5 to 7 oz of milk every 3 to 4 hours. She is a smacker and always smacks her lips after eating. Pretty funny to watch.
She is still sleeping like a champ. I nurse her every nite and rock her to sleep around 9pm and she sleeps until 7-7:30 in the morning.
At School she naps twice a day. The teachers have to rock her to sleep because she does have a tough time just laying in a crib and falling asleep.
She is wearing size 3 diapers.
Jan 5th - Starting Eating baby food. Reese does a great job feeding her. So far we have tried oatmeal, rice cereal, sweet potatoes, green beans, peas, carrots, apples, bananas and squash. She seemed to really like it at first with squash, oatmeal and sweet potatoes, but not really liking it now.....I think she is more interested in what we are eating.
Jan 12 started to really bounce and jump in exersaucer. She really starts to jump when she sees you or is playing with Reese.
She is sitting up great and rocks back and forth. She is a scooter and can get around pretty good while sitting.
Jan 15th she started to attempt crawling it looks more like swimming. She kicks her legs and tries so hard to move. She is also trying to get up on all fours. She conquered this process the last week in Jan and can go backwards but not forwards yet. She can also maneuver herself to you and crawl up on you. She is soooo close!
Taking baths with Big Sis in the duckie tub. She loves to play in the water and doesn't flinch when we wash her hair and pour water on her head to rinse the soap out. She almost falls out of her tub trying to get Reese's toys.
Reagan loves to use her hands and always has something in them. She can switch toy from hand to hand. She can also pick up the tiniest things like a tiny scrap piece of paper. She shakes everything she gets a hold of or bangs it on something. She really likes things that make noise (loves rattles)......and everything also goes right to her mouth : ) (That was one good thing about a binky, Reese never put anything in her mouth because she ALWAYS had a binky). She even grabs a hold of something while nursing like my face, shirt, my hand, my finger....it is really sweet.
The beginning of Jan Reagan's hair is really started to come in... BLOND!
She is rolling over all the time to get somewhere if she cant scoot there. She is definitely a mover and shaker. The only time she is still is if she is tired and about ready to take a nap or go to sleep.
She loves to play peek a boo with her sister.
She also still loves to stand and can now stand up against something. She is trying to pull her self up but no luck yet : )
We love to hear her laugh and she laughs every time you kiss her tummy and feet. (1-29) She just started to laugh at Reese when Reese does something funny. They laughed the entire way home from school one day and it was so wonderful to hear!!!
Reagan LOVES to play and play hard!
She also loves to fly in the air and dance while being held.
Still one of my most favorite things about Reagan is how very very very happy she is. True and Pure Happiest that I hope she never loses! My heart melts every time when every time she looks at you she just starts smiling and kicking her feet at how excited and happy she is to see you.
